15 Punished in Cengkareng Barat for Not Wearing Masks

At least 15 residents in Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng, West Jakarta were netted for not wearing masks in the mask operation, on Monday (3/15).

This aims to give them deterrent effect about the importance of 3M health protocols amid the pandemic

Cengkareng Barat Urban Village Head Ilham Agustian stated those violators were subject to social work sanctions by cleaning up the environment around the operation site.

"This aims to give them deterrent effect about the importance of 3M health protocols amid the pandemic," he expressed, Monday (3/15).

He continued the operation focused on Jalan Ganefo, Jalan M RW 07 and Jalan Flamboyan in front of SMPN 108.

According to him, it was in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation number 3/2021 on the Implementing Regulations of Bylaw number 2/2020 on COVID-19 Handling and the Governor's Decree number 172/2021 on the micro-scale public activity restrictions (PPKM Mikro).

"We chose the three points as locations for the control as this area is strategic and busy with community activities," he uttered.

Hopefully it could trigger all residents to be more disciplined about health protocols.
